Customer Review: Good but not perfect

I needed a new messenger bag and love Kenneth Cole products generally. I purchased this after scanning Amazon for days and settled on this one primarily because of size and style. In those terms, the product does not disappoint. My 15" laptop fits nicely as does my iPod, headphones, and paperwork that makes it fairly ideal for traveling. A couple of issues to be aware of although it shouldn't deter your purchase. The leather is very soft and malleable. Murphy's law attacked my bag on the first day as the bag slid across some protrusion when I stepped out of the car leaving a small but obvious "scar" on the leather. I'm sure I can touch it up but this is different from natural leather aging. If you're accident prone like me in terms of scuffs, be wary of this bag. My only other complaint is that there's no handle (which I didn't really notice upon purchase), which makes it difficult to handle if you can't use the shoulder strap in a setting. Again, a small inconvenience at times but it shouldn't deter you from purchasing a fine product, just somethings to be aware of.
